It's all true - you’re awesome!  B’s and C’s are just not acceptable if you wish your children to excel in education and attend a reputable college. Instructors have admitted, my son Logan is a bright child, but the tools needed to advance are either not recognized or applied. I made the attempt to motivate and encourage, but the sophistication required to instruct the modern day high school student are way beyond my capabilities. My wife and I were thrilled to have the good fortune of crossing paths with Anca Husher and her school enhancement program. Not only does she harbor the advanced credentials to teach, but the nurturing and patience essential to motivate eager minds is overflowing in abundance. Mrs. Husher is competent, direct, efficient and on purpose. A perfect example of Mrs. Husher’s talent resides in redirection of Logan focus in Algebra. It appeared he was fixated on solving math problems in a more difficult, complex manner. Straight forward problem solving techniques were introduced and within hours, not months, Logan was back and on pace with the honors students. Not only did algebra not feel like a chore, but he actually took pride in solving equations. Did I mention with the help of Mrs. Husher’s guidance, my son’s project medaled in the science fair competition? The list goes on. Lastly, Logan’s currently supporting all A’s and has kept it up all year. Thanks Anca…you’re a dream saver!

Anca is a wonderful tutor/teacher. She is very enthusiastic with what she teaches and has a way of helping students grasp all the different math concepts. She has been instrumental in helping my son to grab hold and really understand math and actually enjoy learning it as well. He has become more confident in his ability to learn and retain the many different formulas and concepts of math.  Anca is able to excite her students and their desire to learn. Anca Husher tutored my daughter last year in Pre-Calculus, when she was a Junior.   Her tutoring sessions were 2-3 hours per week. Anca would review the material with Chiara before it was presented in class, so that Chiara would be able to follow along as the teacher lectured.  Chiara was able to better understand Anca's presentation of the material because Anca would break it down into steps, and noticed the areas that Chiara was having difficulty with.  This strategy obviously worked wonders, because her D grade at progress reports amazingly was brought up to an A by the time report cards were issued six weeks later !!!  Chiara continued under the tutelage of Anca, and received an A in the course at the end of the year.  Anca's assistance helped Chiara get accepted to Cal Poly, a university which puts great emphasis on the math and science courses.  Anca also helped Chiara study for the ACT, an exam colleges put great weight on in their admission decisions.  Ultimately, Chiara was accepted into her #1 choice school, University of Georgia, and plans on using Anca's services via the internet when she needs tutoring in either high-level math or science courses. I would highly recommend Anca's services to any student that is struggling with math or science courses, and is willing to put in as much effort studying as Anca does teaching.
